Day 18

April 22, 2015

Today, we got the time to display on the serial port in Energia. The next step which we haven't quite figured out yet is to get that time to display onto our LCD screen. We've mostly been working with Trey, Dave, and checking in with Travis for progress, and we're making good progress.

Day 17

April 13, 2015

We didn't make any specific progress today because some things on the code stopped working, so Reuben and David spent their time fixing that, and Lillian was working on the Wiki page.

Day 16

April 6, 2015

We learned a lot about marketing plans and the various stages of development, so for a presentation we'll be giving to someone tomorrow, Lillian will be making a powerpoint presentation based off of the basic marketing plan that Laretta shared with us. David and Reuben are still working on the codes for their individual parts and are very near completion. We still have left to implement code for the gettime function, the setting the alarm clock, receiving temperature data, syncing the CC3100 with the light, and finally compiling everything together. For now, we are making good progress and hope to finish all the coding aspects, except for possibly the alarm function, within the next two weeks.

Day 15

April 1, 2015

We received an email attachment earlier this week from Cathy regarding Laretta's visit on today, so today Lillian worked on filling out a form about the sales and marketing plan of our product. Reuben continued working with syncing the display code and the CC3100, and David is now working on making the code fade in from low to high within a certain time period - both plan to be finished on Monday of next week.
