All the specific parts of our project have been finalized besides the LED that we will be using to simulate the lightbulb. We sent in our orders to univ@ti.com and are awaiting arrival of the parts!

Today, we finalized the project we're choosing to do. In 6 months, we'll hopefully have created a working prototype of an alarm clock, which we're calling the Rise & Shine. Ideally, this alarm clock will have all the traditional functions of an alarm clock, including alarms and snooze, as well as have wireless functions that allows it to channel weather information from The Weather Channel and remotely turn on a room's light bulbs. For this next week, we will be scoping out the design parameters of this project to create a final schedule based on the requirements.
